SECTION IV GIRLS GOLF: SVEC’S GILLETTE EARNS ALL-STAR ACCOLADE (2024-06-09)

SPENCER — Spencer-Van Etten/Candor sophomore Lauren Gillette has been named a Section IV Girls Golf second team all-star.

Gillette was the team medalist for the Eagles in 11 of their 14 dual matches this season and carried a 49.3 average for nine holes.

She placed fifth at the IAC championships with an 18-hole score of 93 and 11th in Section IV with a 98. She missed being a repeat state qualifier by two places and two strokes.
