TIOGA COUNTY — Spencer-Van Etten senior John Garrison looks to add another state accolade at the NYSPHSAA Track & Field Championships at Cicero-North Syracuse.

The senior distance standout, who already has a top 10 finish in the state cross country championships last fall, looks to reach the podium in the 3,000 steeplechase.

This marks just the fourth time Garrison has run the steeplechase.

His event begins at 10 a.m.
