ENDICOTT — Owego competed in the Section IV Class B Boys Tennis Championships Wednesday, recording one win in singles and one win in doubles.
In singles, DJ Cardone defeated Norwich’s Liam Hunter before falling to Union-Endicott’s John Herzing in the second round.
Sam Beyer and Roan Duffy won their doubles opener against Johnson City’s Zach Taylor and Matt Perry, then dropped their second round match to U-E’s Jack Holden and Gabe Mancini.
Ari Lemmon lost his singles opener to Chase Piester, and the doubles duo of Devan Card and Grant Kersten lost to Johnson City’s Anthony Mazzatti.
