BINGHAMTON — The Owego flag football team surpassed the 400-point mark Wednesday evening, recording its third shutout of the season in a 47-0 romp over Chenango Valley.

Quarterback Kylie Grippen completed 11 of 14 pass attempts for 185 yards and six touchdowns.

Grippen spread the wealth among five players with Olivia Dodge snagging two TD passes, and Olivia Crapser, Taylor Dalton, Lexi Herceg and Bella Silvestri contributing one TD apiece.

Dodge also had a pick six and made eight tackles.

Jaelynne Lovell and Elizabeth Reigle added four tackles apiece.

The River Hawks are now 11-0 and have outscored their opponents, 429-65.

Owego closes out the regular season Thursday at Windsor at 7:30 p.m.
