IAC BOYS GOLF: NEWARK VALLEY SUFFERS LOSS TO LANSING (2024-04-17)

BERKSHIRE — For the second day in a row, a Newark Valley opponent shot a two-over-par 37 on the Grandview Farms Golf Course front nine.

Lansing’s Nicco Binns grabbed the medalist honor Wednesday as the Bobcats defeated NV, 167-232, in IAC boys golf action.

Will Stallone and Austin Crandall scored 42 and 43, respectively, for Lansing, and Jared Hall added a 45.

The Cardinals were led by Brady Woods with a 48 while Isaiah Keith shot 55. Keagan Morhman contributed a 64 while Troy Blomberg and Chandler Baker added 65’s, one of which would be used in the team scoring.

Non-scoring golfers were NV’s Oliver Ferguson with a 70 and Lansing’s Dakota Downs with a 46 and Dylan Budd with a 56.

Newark Valley (1-4) is home again next Wednesday against Dryden at 3:30 p.m.
