TIOGA COUNTY — Doubleheaders rule the day as the Newark Valley and Spencer-Van Etten/Candor baseball teams, and the SVEC softball team try to squeeze make-up games in with regularly scheduled contests.

However, the National Weather Service is calling for rain in the late morning and possibly the early afternoon. Whether or not that will affect any events has yet to be seen.

BASEBALL
Newark Valley hosts Groton at 3:30 and 5:45 p.m.
Owego visits Seton Catholic for a 7:30 p.m. game.
SVEC hosts Elmira Notre Dame at 3:45 and 5:15 p.m.

BOYS LACROSSE
Owego hosts Windsor at 6 p.m.

SOFTBALL
Newark Valley hosts Groton at 4:30 p.m.
SVEC hosts Elmira Notre Dame at 3:45 and 5:15 p.m.
