TIOGA COUNTY — Owego’s Rae Ann Craft and SVEC’s John Johnston have been named the
Tioga County Sports Report “Athletes of the Week” for Feb. 5-10.
Female Athlete of the Week: RaeAnn Craft
The sophomore became the first three-time Section IV girls wrestling champion when she won the 120-pound weight class at the sectional tournament Feb. 10.

Male Athlete of the Week: John Johnston, SVEC
The junior battled past three tough opponents to win the 170-pound title at the Section IV Division II Wrestling Championships Feb. 10.
His victories included decisions by scores of 10-6, 5-2 and 8-6 in what was arguably the most evenly balanced weight class in the tournament.
