TIOGA COUNTY — There are three championship events on the schedule, including bowling and cheerleading in the IAC, but the big one is the wrestling state qualifier.

BOWLING
IAC championships, 1 p.m.: Candor and Newark Valley head to the Valley Bowling Center in Waverly for the annual tournament.

CHEERLEADING
IAC championships, 10 a.m.: Newark Valley is once again the host for the league championship event.

WRESTLING
Section IV championships, 8:30 a.m.: Division I, Division II and the girls will hold their championships at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. The event serves as a state qualifier for the boys.

The finals will be held at 6 p.m. simultaneously on three mats.
