TIOGA COUNTY — The Candor girls basketball team begins its winter season with a home game.

BOWLING
SVEC at Watkins Glen, 4 p.m.: The Eagles opened the season last week with victories, the girls sweeping Edison and the boys winning, 3-1.

BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING
Chenango Forks at Owego, 5 p.m.: The River Hawks recorded six wins in the 11 events they entered in a 95-72 loss to Windsor in the season opener.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Trumansburg at Candor, 5:30 p.m.: With no JV game slated, the varsity Coyotes will start early.

Owego (1-1) at Elmira Notre Dame, 7:15 p.m.: The River Hawks are coming off a good weekend at the Sibley tournament.

WRESTLING
SVEC at Edison, 6 p.m.: The Eagles, coming off a solid showing at the Clyde Cole tournament, begin the IAC dual meet season on the road.
