NEWARK VALLEY — Owego’s RaeAnn Craft recorded two pins, a technical fall and a forfeit to win the 138-pound class at the Newark Valley Girls Wrestling Tournament Friday.

The two-time Section IV champion opened the round robin tourney with a fall over Tioga’s Amelia Toomey in 5:55, then received a forfeit from Isabella Barnes of Oneonta.

She defeated another Oneonta grappler in the third round, decking Valentina Carotenuto in 1:18. Following a bye in the fourth round, she ended her run with a 15-0 tech fall over Oneonta’s Destiny White.

A trio of Tioga wrestlers came away with two firsts and a second.

Kali Bailey went 5-0 to take the 126-pound title while Kyah Nelson was 4-0 at 165. Toomey was the runner-up to Craft.
