NEWARK VALLEY — The Newark Valley bowling teams evened their season records at 4-4 Thursday, the boys and girls both sweeping Odessa-Montour by 4-0 verdicts.
GIRLS
The Cardinals won by scores of 657-438, 767-482 and 695-529, and won the total pinfall, 2119-1449.
Rachel Hartman led NV with a 175-488, Alyssa Brown rolled a 166-470 and Madi Davis chipped in with a 150-439.
Lexi Rosengrant added a 143-363, Abigail Dufresne recorded a 134-335 and Emily Bird tacked on a 119-317.
Pieta Vanderwuerff led the Grizzlies with a 123-353.
BOYS
Brandon Eynon’s 190-523 paced the NV victory.
James Wales pitched in with 188-466, Dayle Gorsline had a 149-412, Lakoda Gorsline contributed a 146-363, Williams Simmons added a 127-343 and Mathieu Bauer shot a 118-330.
The Cardinals won 692-387, 708-458 and 714-419, and won the total pinfall, 2114.
O-M, with just four bowlers, was led by Brayden Seamon’s 166-456.
Newark Valley hosts Tioga Dec. 7.
NOTE: Six bowlers can compete in each game with the lowest score being dropped.
