ONEONTA — The Owego volleyball team made the lengthy trek to Oneonta and came away with a 3-0 sweep over the Yellowjackets in STAC action Thursday evening.
The River Hawks won by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-20.
Maggie Hamed registered 11 kills, eight digs and three aces. Bella Miller dished out 14 assists and added three aces, and Shannon Maslin recorded 13 digs. Lexi Herceg handed out seven assists and Kayla Newman had four kills.
The Hawks compete in the Victor Girls Volleyball Tournament Saturday.
