STAC BOYS GOLF: TAMMARIELLO MEDALS AGAIN, OWEGO IMPROVES TO 4-2 (2023-09-14)

ONEONTA — Owego’s Patrick Tammariello claimed medalist honors for the fourth time as the River Hawks defeated Oneonta, 225-231, in STAC boys golf action at the Oneonta Country Club Wednesday.

The Owego senior scored a 4-over-par 40 as the Hawks improved to 4-2 on the season.

Jacob Bensley and Matt Springsteen carded 44s for Owego. Neither had played OCC before.

Owego hosts undefeated Norwich (5-0) at The Golf Club at Owego Tuesday.
