TIOGA COUNTY — The first full week of the spring sports season gets underway with baseball, softball, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls track and field and tennis in action

MONDAY
Owego girls lacrosse opens the season at Maine-Endwell.

TUESDAY
Owego’s boys lacrosse team plays its second game, hosting Union-Endicott.

Newark Valley hosts Moravia in tennis.

Candor and Newark Valley head to Tioga for a track & field meet while S-VE hosts Edison and Waverly.

WEDNESDAY
The SVEC baseball team opens at home against George Junior Republic.

Owego’s boys tennis team begins the season at home against Norwich.

THURSDAY
Owego girls lacrosse hosts Whitney Point.

Newark Valley hosts Waverly in tennis.

FRIDAY
It’s a busy day on the diamonds as SVEC hosts Waverly in baseball and Newfield in softball while Newark Valley visits Newfield in baseball and Whitney Point in softball.

Owego hosts M-E in boys lacrosse.

SATURDAY
Newark Valley and Owego head to Windsor for the NY/PA Track & Field Invitational.
