TIOGA COUNTY — The Owego boys basketball team hosts Waverly in a Section IV Class B semifinal.

The Indians (13-6) are seeded second and the Wolverines (19-2) are the three seed.

Waverly is ranked higher by the New York State Sportswriters Association, at No. 17 while Owego is an honorable mention.

In the newyorkhighschoolbasketball.com rankings, Owego is No. 22 and Waverly is No. 29.

The Wolverines are ranked higher in the maxpreps.com computer rankings. They are No. 13 and Owego is No. 16.

The two teams met in the semifinals last year as well with the Indians prevailing, 47-40.
