HIGH HEAT WEST TO HOST PITCHING / HITTING CLINIC SATURDAY AT WAVERLY SPORTS COMPLEX (2023-02-05)
THe Sports ReportsWAVERLY — High Heat West will host a
“Pitching / Hitting Clinic” on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the
Waverly Sports Complex, located here on Broad Street.
The clinic
will be conducted by Andy Hutchings, former Binghamton University
pitcher and pitching coach, and Brian Johnsen, a former pitcher at Keuka
College.
Hutchings has worked with several Division I players
from the Valley in the past, including Parker Hendershot, Brendyn
Stillman, Matt Williams, and Pierce Hendershot.
The hitting portion of the clinic will cover hitting mechanics to enhance power, bat control, and decision making.
The pitching clinic will cover how to throw strikes with multiple pitches adding more power.
