CONKLIN — Owego outscored Susquehanna Valley 25-5 in the first quarter and never looked back, rolling to a 60-25 STAC JV boys basketball triumph Tuesday evening.

The early onslaught included 3-pointers from Nick Brown, Matt Higgins, Carter Rieg and Cal Smith, and the INdians had seven players put points on the scoreboard.

Brown tacked on another trey in the second quarter as Owego extended its advantage to 38-14.

Cal Smith hit his second 3-ball in the third period, giving the Indians a half-dozen treys for the game.

Brown led all scorers with 11 points while Smith and King Brainard added 10 apiece.

Hunter Slater chipped in with eight, Zack Bensley scored seven, Rieg had five, Danny Tavelli four, HIggins three and Ari Lemmon added two.
