WATKINS GLEN — Kody Floyd rolled a pair of 200-plus games while his sibling, Kaitlyn, fired off the high game of the day as the SVEC boys and girls bowling teams improved to 8-0 with 4-0 sweeps over Odessa-Montour Thursday.

Kaitlyn Floyd recorded a 224 in her second game while Kody Floyd hit for 211 and 207 in his last two games.

BOYS
Kody Floyd was the lone kegler to break 600, finishing with a 601.

Tyler Dunham shot 180-472, Calvin Curkendall had a 163-467, Matt Fitch recorded a 196-466, Skyler Kwiatkowski added a 158-420 and Addison Young tacked on a 140-382.

Dom Elliott paced the Grizzlies with a 502 series while Zach Rounds had the team’s high game, a 190.

The Eagles won the first game, 773-718, which was the closest game of the day. SVEC won the next two, 856-748 and 814-670, to take the total pinfall, 2443-2136.

In exhibition matches, Derrick Ryant had a 351 series, Fred Schmidt a 313, William Dizer a 283 and Kameron Smith a 262.

GIRLS
Kaitlyn Floyd finished with a 519 series while SVEC was paced by Janelle Marsh, who bowled a 198-539.

Calli Marsh contributed a 166-455, Kaydee Jackson scored a 164-359, Jenna Rose Raegan had a 122-277 and Raina Schneider Kern added a 176 series.

The Eagles defeated the understaffed Grizzlies, 2163-955. They won the individual games, 723-294, 749-367 and 691-274.

Pietra Vanderwerff led O-M with a 118-260.

SVEC hosts Tioga Tuesday at Owego Bowl.
