OWEGO — The Owego girls cross country team has earned three spots on the STAC Central / East All-Conference all-star team and four more on the Central All-Division squad.
Led by freshman Jaelyn Chrysler, the Indians won the Section IV Class C championship and sent seven runners to the state meet.
It was the second trip for Chrysler, who was named to the Central / East All-Conference. Also receiving all-conference nods were senior Abby Fahey, who was also a two-time state qualifier, and freshman LillyMay Wheeland.
Eighth-grader Lilly LaFever, junior Abigail Luke, freshman Abigail McHugh and senior Alex Senko were selected to the all-division team.
