IAC BOWLING: SVEC BOYS SWEEP EDISON; GIRLS WIN UNCONTESTED (2022-11-22)

OWEGO — Kody Floyd flirted with a 300 game and Matt Fitch rolled a trio of 200-plus games to lead SVEC to a 4-0 victory over Edison in IAC boys bowling action at Owego Bowl Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the lady Eagles picked up a win in an uncontested match as the Spartans do not have a girls team.
BOYS
With an impressive 268 game under his belt, Floyd fired off a 290 in game two. He added a 168 in the third game to finish with a 726 series.
Also sporting an impressive debut was Fitch with a 222-239-205 for a 657 series.
Calvin Curkendall shot 222-569 and Aiden Jackson added a 201-525. Tyler Dunham had a 168-469 and Jason Tuffarella scored a 180-458.
In exhibition bowling, Kameron Smith had a 162-402, Skyler Kwiatkowski shot 386, Fred Schmidt a 316, William Dizer a 3-1 and Derick Ryant a 275.
SVEC won the total pinfall, 2995-2703, and took the games, 1025-979, 1061-878 and 909-846.
Ashton Colunio led the Spartans with 222, 210-611, Zack Crown added a 209, 202-605 and Logan Card tacked on a 267-588.
GIRLS
It was essentially a practice for SVEC.
Janelle Marsh rolled a 177-466 to lead the way. Kaitlyn Floyd posted a 194-448 and Calliu Marsh had a 144-403.
Jennarose Reagan contributed a 111-275 and Raina Schneider-Kern had a 175 series.
