COLLEGE BASKETBALL: S-VE GRAD BRUEHWILER CONTRIBUTES TO CORNING EFFORT (2022-11-21)

CORNING — S-VE grad Ava Bruehwiler scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds to help Corning Community College defeat Finger Lakes CC, 41-34, Saturday.

The sophomore forward also contributed two assists, one steal and two free throws (2-for-2) to the Red Barons’ first victory of the season.

Bruehwiler has recorded three double-doubles for Corning (1-5) this season. She had 17 points and 16 rebounds against SUNY Broome, 12 points and 10 boards vs. Jefferson, and 13 points and 12 boards against TC3.
