NEWARK VALLEY — The Newark Valley field hockey team landed two Section IV Division II all-star selections recently.

Senior Katie Berghorn was named to the first team and Hailey Engbith was picked on the second team.

Berghorn, a senior midfielder, scored one goal and handed out one assist for the Cardinals.

Engbith, a junior, was a key player on defense as a sweeper for NV.
