TIOGA COUNTY — The Section IV Class B Boys Golf Championship and the Candor-Tioga volleyball rivalry get the week going.

BOYS GOLF
Owego at Soaring Eagles, 9 a.m.: Patrick Tammariello and Peyton Farrell will lead the Indians into the Section IV Class B championship tournament at the picturesque Horseheads venue.

FIELD HOCKEY
Greene at Newark Valley, 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals host last year’s Section IV Class C runner-up.

Owego at Windsor, 5:30 p.m.: The Indians hit the road to face a strong Black Knights squad.

SVEC at Vestal, 4:30 p.m.: The Eagles step up in class to face the defending Section IV Class B champion Golden Bears.

GIRLS SOCCER
Candor at Elmira Notre Dame, 7 p.m.: The Indians have a chance to put a chink in ND’s division title hopes.

VOLLEYBALL
Candor at Tioga, 6:30 p.m.: The Indians always seem to rise to the occasion when the Tigers are on the other side of the net.

Edison at Newark Valley, 6:30 p.m.: The Cardinals dropped their season opener at home to the Spartans and have another shot on their home court.

S-VE at Waverly, 6:30 p.m.: The Panthers can avenge one of their two losses.
