TIOGA COUNTY — This week’s schedule is nearly as busy as the previous week with 41 events slated. There are 11 featuring Tioga County teams facing one another or taking on more than one county rival. Here’s a look at some of this week’s activities.

MONDAY
The highlight of the day will be a soccer doubleheader with the SVEC girls and boys hosting Waverly.

Also on tap is a volleyball match with S-VE visiting Newark Valley.

TUESDAY
The Newark Valley and SVEC cross country teams head to Tioga for a multi-team meet which includes the host Tigers and Waverly.

WEDNESDAY
S-VE hosts Tioga in IAC South Small School volleyball.

THURSDAY
SVEC hosts Owego in field hockey.

Tioga heads to SVEC for boys soccer.

Newark Valley visits Waverly for a girls soccer night game.

FRIDAY
Candor travels to Waverly to play volleyball.

Meanwhile, on the gridiron, Owego hosts Johnson City in a key Class B confrontation.

SATURDAY
Owego holds its annual cross country invitational, which also involves Newark Valley, SVEC, Tioga, Waverly, and more than 20 other schools from New York and Pennsylvania.

SVEC travels to Walton and Newark Valley heads to Susquehanna Valley for football action.
