TIOGA COUNTY — It’s a light schedule with some interesting action to include a unified basketball game, a sectional tennis tournament and a JV baseball tournament.

BASEBALL
Newark Valley at SVEC, 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals battled past the Eagles in nine innings Tuesday.

SVEC JV at Lansing, 4:30 p.m.: The sixth-seeded Eagles visit No. 3 Lansing in the quarterfinal round of the IAC JV tournament.

BOYS GOLF
Odessa-Montour at SVEC, 4 p.m.: The Eagles look to improve to 10-0 on the season.

SOFTBALL
Odessa-Montour (0-10) at Candor (5-6), 5 p.m.: The Indians, winners of four straight, look to reach .500. Candor won the previous meeting, 24-2, in the season opener.

TENNIS
Newark Valley at Section IV Class C-D West tournament, 9 a.m.: The Cardinals are hosting the sectional event, which also includes another Tioga County team, Waverly.

UNIFIED BASKETBALL
Maine-Endwell at Owego, 5:30 p.m.: The Indians will honor their seniors in the final home game of the season. This is the fourth game for Owego, which has a six-game schedule.
