OWEGO — Taylor Dalton twirled a one-hit shutout for her first varsity victory and accounted for four runs at the plate as Owego routed Seton Catholic, 20-0, in five innings in STAC softball action here Thursday.

Dalton struck out four batters and walked three and went 2-for-3 with a triple, double, two runs and two RBI.

She, Alex Aubel and Jordan Greeno scored two runs apiece in the first inning as the Indians bolted out to a 12-0 advantage.

With a 13-0 cushion, the Indians tacked on four more runs in the third inning, then added three in the fourth.

Greeno went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI, and Ava Brown was 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Chelsea Rollison and Natalie Donovan contributed two runs and two RBI apiece while Aubel and Maddie Bennett scored two runs each, and Sophia Palladino drove in a pair of runs.

Aubel, Bennett, Donovan and Rollison tacked on one hit apiece.

The Indians drew 13 walks, including three each by Aubel and Donovan.

Owego (3-3) hosts Ithaca Saturday at 11 a.m.
