DALLAS, Pa. — Misericordia sophomore Jennifer Scott enjoyed an impressive season for the Cougars, helping them to an 8-2 dual meet record and fourth place in the Middle Atlantic Conference.

The Owego grad posted 25 top-three finishes this past season, including three at the MAC championships.

She swam a leg of the victorious 200-yard medley relay which clocked 1:49.43, anchored the runner-up 200 freestyle relay (1:40.08) and was on the third-place 400 medley relay (4:04.5). Scott was also a member of the fourth-place 400 free relay, which cut almost 10 seconds off its seed time with a 3:40.44.

Individually at the MAC meet, she was seventh in the 100 fly (1:01.76), eighth in the 50 free (:25.29) and 14th in the 100 free (:56.21).

Scott won the 50 butterfly against Arcadia University (:27.72), the 50 free against Hood College and Lycoming College in a tri-meet (:25.81), vs. Marywood University (:26.61) and against King’s College (:26.38), and the 100 fly against Marywood (1:03.48).

In relay events, she was involved in wins in the 200 medley against Marywood (1:58.61), Wilkes University (2:04.61), King’s (1:55.16), and a tri-meet with Messiah University and Albright College (1:53.61); the 200 free vs. Arcadia (1:44.05), King’s (1:44.51), and Messiah and Albright (1:42.02), and the 400 free against Hood and Lycoming (3:54.31).

Scott was also a runner-up in four individual events and one relay, and was third in three individual races and two relays.
