STAC BOWLING: OWEGO SPLITS WITH NORWICH (2022-10-18)

NORWICH — Owego split a STAC bowling match with Norwich here Tuesday, the boys winning 5-0. The Indians came in leading Division III with a 34-1 record (the best record in the league) while the Purple Tornado were atop Division 4 at 19-16.
The girls team fell, 5-0.
BOYS
Owego 5, Norwich 0
Cole Dalton, Tyler Taft and Evan O'Hara rolled 600 or better to lead the Owego charge.
Dalton posted a 653 series which included games of 257 and 204. Taft surpassed 200 in every game, rolling 203, 2002 and 222 to tally a 627 series. O'Hara added a 225 and 215 for a 600 series.
Connor Kotski contributed a 189-561 and William Waldron added a 185-534.
The Indians won by game scores of 978-885, 1000-856 and 997-930, and captured the total pinfall, 2975-2671.
GIRLS
Norwich 5, Owego 0
The Purple Tornado won by scores of 754-494, 723-583 and 651-612, and won the total pinfall, 2128-1689.
Haley Stephens paced the lady Indians with a 185-533. Elizabeth Reigle rolled a 141-339 and Aubrey Garrison added a 114-301.
Tori Koylarz, Elaina Anschutz and Rylee Hooker bowled two games apiece, with total scores of 189, 183 and 144, respectively.
