IAC BOWLING: SVEC SWEEPS PAST EDISON, GIRLS NOW 50-2 (2022-01-18)

OWEGO — The SVEC girls bowling team collected its 50th point of the season with a 4-0 sweep of Edison at Owego Bowl Tuesday. Meanwhile, the boys team won by a 4-0 verdict as well to improve to 44-8.
Edison had just two girls and four boys competing.
GIRLS
SVEC 4, Edison 0
The Eagles won, 631-201, 698-264 and 779-249 to take the total pinfall, 2108-714. They are now 50-2.
Janelle Marsh led the team with a 201-522 and Kaitlyn Floyd rolled a 170-478.
Calli Marsh had a 149-398, Miranda Langendoerfer added a 140-349, Julia Dunham shot a season-high game of 157 and season-high series of 335. Elly Hatton added a 280 series.
Kaydee Jackson rolled a season-high game of 162 in exhibition. Phebe Jackson added a 176-473 in exhibition.
BOYS
SVEC 4, Edison 0
SVEC won by scores of 848-659, 933-677 and 860-663, and took the total pinfall, 2641-1999.
Garrett Lindhorst shot a 202 and 234 en route to a 574 series. Kody Floyd posted a 194-532, Tyler Dunham scored a 201-511 and Matt Fitch added a 193-504.
Aiden Jackson shot 177-488 and Calvin Curkendall chipped in with a 147-439.
The Spartans' Zack Crown led all bowlers with a 224-623.
