TIOGA COUNTY — The day's schedule includes seven events in bowling, and boys and girls basketball.

BOWLING
Lansing at Newark Valley, 4 p.m.: The Cardinals get back on the lanes after a 12-day layoff.

Edison at SVEC, 4 p.m.: The Eagle girls are in first place in IAC Division 2 and the boys are in second.

Owego at Norwich, 3:40 p.m.: The Indian boys lead the crew in STAC Division 3.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Tioga (6-6, 5-4 IAC South Small School) at Candor (9-2, 6-1 IAC South Small School), 5:30 p.m.: The Indians are coming off a lopsided win over Southern Cayuga. The Tigers have won three straight last losing to Candor on Jan. 4.

Waverly (8-3, 6-1 IAC South Large School) at Newark Valley (2-8, 1-7 IAC South Large School), 7:230 p.m.: The Cardinals are coming off a loss to Whitney Point while the Wolverines turned away S-VE. Waverly won their previous meeting 13 days ago.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Candor (1-8, 1-4 IAC South Small School) at Tioga (1-8, 0-5 IAC South Small School), 7 p.m.: The Indians defeated the Tigers, 40-23, when the two teams met Jan. 4.

Newfield (2-9, 2-4 IAC South Small School) at S-VE (5-2, 5-1 IAC South Small School), 6 p.m.: The Panthers are coming off a win over Groton and look to hold onto their spot atop the division. S-VE beat the Trojans in their last meeting, 50-16.

NOTES: The Owego boys swimming & diving meet, and the girls basketball game against Susquehanna Valley have been postponed due school closure at Sus Valley.

The basketball game has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.

A make-up date for the swim meet has not been announced.
