WAVERLY — William Waldron rolled a 731 series to lead the Owego boys bowling team to a 4-0 victory over Waverly in a rare battle between IAC and STAC powers Tuesday.
The Indians lead STAC Division 3 and the Wolverines are atop IAC Division 1.
In the girls match, division-leading Waverly swept Owego, 4-0.
BOYS

Waldron's series included games of 276, 239 and 216.
Cole Dalton shot 233, 207 and 206 for a 646 series while Connor Kotski's 640 series included games 241 and 213.
Tyler Taft added 202-591, Evan O'Hara scored a 200-570 and Grayden Stanton had a 163-465.
Zach Vanderpool led Waverly with a 256-674 and Tristan Campbell posted a 279-640.
Owego won with scores of 1006-993, 1066-922 and 1106-1034, and taking the total pinfall, 3178-2949.

The Wolverines won by scores of 861-597, 811-574 and 837-555 to take the total pinfall, 2509-1726.
Rachel Houseknecht rolled a 188-541 for the Wolverines and Serenity Conklin added a 189-518.
Haley Stephens led Owego with a 182-485. Elizabeth Reigle added a 121-332, Tori Kobylarz had a 117-316, Aubrey Garrison registered a 110-302, Elaina Anschutz shot a 112-258 and Rylee Hooker tacked on a 248 series.
