BINGHAMTON — Owego dominated the scoreboard in the second and third quarter to post a 50-41 STAC JV boys basketball victory over Chenango Forks here Tuesday.

Trailing, 15-12, the Indians outscored Forks, 15-6 in the second period and 16-9 in the third to jump on a 43-30 cushion.

Joe Palladino recorded nine points in the middle quarters while Zack Bensley posted another eight. Ben Rollison added five, including a 3-pointer, and Owen Bronk knocked down a trey.

Rollison had a trey in the first quarter and had five points while Riley Loomis tacked on four first-period points.

Bensley led the scoring effort with 12 points as Owego improved to 8-1 on the season. Palladino and Rollison contributed 10 points apiece. Loomis scored eight, Bronk and Matt Higgins had four apiece, and Talan Schumacher tacked on two.

Owego hosts Seton Catholic this evening.
