STAC BOWLING: OWEGO SPLITS WITH WINDSOR IN SEASON OPENER (2021-11-29)

WINDSOR — Owego opened the season with a split on the road here Monday. The Indians swept the boys match, 5-0, while the host Black Knights did likewise in the girls event.

BOYS
Owego 5, Windsor 0
Owego stuffed the Black Knights behind a fairly balanced attack.

Connor Kotski posted the high series, a 496, which included games of 193 and 180.

Cole Dalton recorded the high game, a 195, and finished with a 479 series.

Evan O'Hara rolled a relatively consistent 485 series which included a 167. William Waldron recorded a 179-460 and Grayden Stanton added a 151-425.

The Indians took the total pinfall, 2345-1419. They won the games by scores of 682-473, 845-426 and 818-520.

Brendon McKercher paced Windsor, which was understaffed on kegler, with a 162-444.

GIRLS
Windsor 5, Owego 0
The Knights, who won the STAC East and placed third in Section IV this past season, continued to display their talents as they took the total pinfall, 2727-1466.

Alexis Barton recorded a 256 high game and a 224 on the way top the high series, a 653. Skylar Thomas clicked with a 237-202-203 to finish up at 642. Kayla Dean added a 207 to the equation.

Windsor won the games, 913-487, 924-502 and 890-477.

The Indians were led by Elizabeth Reigle's 131-362 and Haley Stephens' 136-353.

Victoria Reigle added a 247 series, Aubrey Garrison added a 217 and Kyle Hooker tacked on a 204 over two games.
