TIOGA COUNTY — The fall season comes to a close with Candor volleyball and SVEC football wrapping up the fall season.

FRIDAY
Football: SVEC (8-0) vs. Spackenkill (7-1) at Binghamton, 7 p.m.: Groton was the first team to find the end zone multiple times against the Eagles, but couldn't slow SVEC's big-play offense as the Eagles won the Section IV Class D championship, 50-12.

The Spartans bring a 7-game win streak into the regional clash while SVEC has won 14 in a row dating back to 2019.

SATURDAY
Volleyball: Candor (21-1) at NYSPHSAA Class D championships, 3 p.m.: The defending state champion Indians will face Galway from Section II, Pavilion from Section V and Mount Academy from Section IX in pool play action.

The top two teams advance to the championship match Sunday at 2 p.m.
