NEWARK VALLEY — Connor VanZile scored twice to lead Newark Valley to a 4-1 victory over Tioga in IAC boys soccer action here Thursday.

Jonah Williams contributed a goal and an assist for the cardinals and James Wales added a goal.

Tyler Rowe found the back of the net for the Tigers.

NV outshot Tioga, 19-6, and held a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Brandon Randell made four saves for the Cardinals and Trent Browne grabbed 13 for Tioga.

Newark Valley hosts Watkins Glen Saturday.
