STAC GIRLS TENNIS: OWEGO PROVIDES EXCITEMENT IN LOSS TO WINDSOR (2021-09-21)

OWEGO — The Owego girls tennis team provided some exciting matches in 3-1 loss to Windsor here Tuesday.

The Indians' Rachel Wood dominated at first singles, defeating Brionna Marble, 6-1, 6-1.

At second doubles, Zoe Zachary battled through two tie-breakers with Sophia Chen before falling by 7-6 verdicts. The tie-breaker sets ended with 7-4 and 7-5 scores.

At third singles, the Black Knights' Isabella Indelicato topped Mia Jones, 6-1, 6-3.

Windsor's Lauren Stevens and Liz Mazza received a forfeit in doubles.

Owego hosts Susquehanna Valley Wednesday.
