COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY: NV GRAD STEWART STARTS SEASON OFF STRONG (September 8, 2021)

DELHI — Newark Valley grad Sophie Stewart placed third at the season-opening Dick Daymont meet at Hartwick College Sept. 1 and 14th at the Frank Dillon Memorial Lemoyne College Cross Country Invitational Saturday.

The SUNY Delhi junior recorded a time of 17:51.36 at the Daymont meet and 17:05.4 at the Dillon run. Both events were held on 4,000-meter courses.

The Broncos compete at Vassar College Saturday.
