COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO GRAD HART NAMED TO COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAM (2021-08-01)

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Owego grad McKenzie Hart, a rising senior on the Nazareth College volleyball team, was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District team following her junior season with the Golden Flyers.

Hart was selected to the Division III District 3 team which encompasses all schools in New York state. A Psychology major with concentration in Early Inclusive Education, she carried a 3.7 grade point average. She also represented Nazareth on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with semester GPAs of 3.75 and higher.

The 2019 Empire 8 Libero of the Year made a successful transition to outside hitter as Nazareth went 6-3 and advanced to the Empire 8 Conference championship match. this spring. The 2020 Empire 8 fall sports season was postponed to spring 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hart led Nazareth in service aces with 19, and was second in kills (98) and digs (139).
