COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO'S HART EARNS E8 FIRST-TEAM ACCOLADE (2021-07-29)

ROCHESTER — Rising senior Mackenzie Hart is one of four Nazareth College players to receive Empire 8 All-Conference recognition during the 2020 (2021) season.

The Owego grad transitioned from libero to outside hitter this past and helped the Golden Flyers advance to the E8 championship match. She led the team in service aces with 19, and was second in kills with 98 and digs with 139.

Nazareth finished the season 6-3 overall.

She was also named to the College Sports Information Directors of America's Division III District 3 Academic All-District. The team encompasses all teams in New York state and honorees are entered on the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot which will release first-, second- and third-team honorees in July.
