ENDICOTT — Owego (Morales) cranked up a nine-run lead and went on to down Vestal Black, 14-2, in 12B division pool play at the U-E Little League 12U All-Star Tournament here Tuesday.

Owego received walks from Payden Morales, Cayden Adams, Dylan Brace and Caden Morrow. Morales scored on a passed ball and Brace stole home. Sam Buchsbaum, who reached base on a fielder's choice, made it 3-0 on an error.

Lynkon Craft walked and scored on a wild pitch in the second and Owego added four more runs in the third.

Brace and Buchsbaum sandwiched single between walks to Cayden Smith and Morrow. Smith scored on a passed ball, Brace tallied on a wild pitch and Buchsbaum reached home on a fielder's choice off Morrow's bat. Morrow made it 9-0 on Craft's RBI single.

Gio Every singled and scored on Brace's single in the fourth to make it a 10-1 contest.

Eric Schrader singled to start the Owego fourth and Craft brought him around with a two-run home run. Then, after Benny Mikels drew a one-out walk, Every smacked an RBI double and Morales plated Every with a ground out, giving Owego a 14-1 cushion.

Craft finished the game 2-for-2 with two runs and three RBI, and Brace was 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Every was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI, and Morales went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI.

Schrader contributed a hit, run and RBI; Buchsbaum chipped in with a two runs and one hit; and Smith, Morrow, Beckett Tirinato and Mikels added one hit apiece.

Mikels pitched the first three innings, striking out four and allowing three hits. Buchsbaum threw the final two with one strikeout, one walk and four hits.

Owego plays a doubleheader today (Wednesday) at Glendale Park's Murphy Field against U-E (Ciotoli) at 5 p.m. and Johnson City (Stallman) at 7 p.m.
