IAC SOFTBALL: S-VE RECEIVES FOUR ALL-STAR SELECTIONS (2021-06-19)

Tioga County Sports Report
SPENCER — Spencer-Van Etten received four first-team selections on the 2021 IAC South Small School All-Star team.

They include senior first baseman Christina Beebe, junior pitcher Rhiana Lawrence, junior second baseman Hannah Martinez and shortstop Faith Brenchley, an 8th-grader.

Beebe hit .447 (17-for-38) with two home runs, a double, 16 runs, 10 RBI and a walk.

Lawrence led S-VE to an 8-2 league record, striking out 86 batters in 59 innings. She also hit .441 (15-for-34) with a home run and three doubles. She scored 16 runs and had seven RBI, four walks and two stolen bases.

Martinez hit .484 (16-for-33) with two homers, a triple, double, 17 runs, 10 RBI, four walks and two stolen bases.

Brenchley hit .468 (15-for-32) with a home run, two triples, four doubles, 14 runs, seven RBI, three stolen bases and two walks.
