NEWFIELD — Addie Aman and Shelby Swartz belted home runs to highlight Candor's 20-6 victory over Newfield in IAC action here Friday.

The Indians scored in every inning with a six-run surge in the third and a seven-run burst in the seventh highlighting their performance.

Candor pounded out 16 hits as Aman went 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBI, and Swartz was 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. Leah Cook was 3-for-4 and scored four runs, and Anna Greeno went 2-for-4 with two doubles, and three runs.

Greeno struck out six from the circle, and scattered nine hits and two walks.

Adrianna Royce and Mina Thomas had two hits apiece for the Trojans.

Candor (3-1) hosts Tioga Wednesday.
