WATKINS GLEN — Jacob Banks claimed medalist honors for a second consecutive match and SVEC improved to 4-0 with a 180-196 IAC South large School victory over Watkins Glen here Thursday.

The sophomore shot a 5-over-par 41 to lead the Eagle charge. Classmate Taylor Brock, medalist in SVEC's first two matches, finished just one stroke back.  

The Eagles' other two scoring golfers broke 50 as well. Nathan Gillette shot 48 and Tyler Greeno scored a 49.

Seneca standout Georgio Fazzary posted a 42. He was followed by Ben Swinnerton with a 49, Dan Ely's 50 and Andrew Hayes with a 55.

Non-scoring golfers were SVEC's Joey Marsh with a 51 and Seth Neiss with a 53, and WG's Luke Spahalski with a 67 and Demetrius Dillon with a 71.

SVEC hosts Trumansburg Tuesday.
