COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO GRAD TERRY SETS SEASON HIGH IN KILLS (2021-04-13)

ELMIRA — Owego grad Savannah Terry, a middle blocker at Elmira College, posted a season-high 10 kills in a 3-0 win over Utica College Wednesday.

She also established season highs in service points (20), aces (8), digs (6) and assists (3) in a 3-1 victory over Russell Sage College, and blocks (4) in a 3-1 win against Nazareth College in the season opener.

The win against Nazareth was the Soaring Eagles' first over the Golden Flyers since 2011.

Terry currently leads the team in aces (18) and blocks (14), and is second in points (74 1/2) and third in kills (48).

Elmira College is 3-2 in the Empire 8 Conference and 5-2 overall.
