SYRACUSE — Le Moyne College sophomore Zoe Mahon scored her first collegiate goal as the Dolphins defeated Southern Connecticut State University, 18-6, in Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse action Wednesday.

The Owego grad scored on a pass in transition from Adrianna Nojaim with 13:39 remaining in the game, giving the Dolphins a 17-5 lead.

Le Moyne, ranked third in the Nike / US Lacrosse Division II polls, is off to a 7-0 start. The Dolphins have wins over three other top 20 teams to their credit this season.

Their next game is Tuesday at American International College.
