TIOGA COUNTY — Pending the outcome of the winter weather, today's slate could be full of action.
BOYS BOWLING
Owego (38-2) at Chenango Valley (34-11): The Indians locked up the STAC Division 3 title some time ago and will close out the season against second-place CV, one of just two teams to win a point against them.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Newark Valley (0-1) at Waverly (2-0): NV dropped its opener to S-VE while the Wolverines took a pair of games from Candor. The match is currently slated to go head-to-head, but could be held virtually if necessary.
S-VE (1-0) at Odessa-Montour (2-0): The Panthers opened with a win over Newark Valley while O-M swept Edison.
Owego (2-0) at Edison (0-2): The Indians took two from Tioga last week.
GIRLS BOWLING
Owego (3-37) at Chenango Valley (13-32): The Indians picked up point against the Warriors in their last meeting. The match is currently slated to go head-to-head, but could be held virtually if necessary.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Waverly (3-0) at Newark Valley (1-0): The Cardinals ran away from Watkins Glen in the season opener, but will face a much tougher challenge in a speedy Waverly squad.
Odessa-Montour (0-2) at S-VE (0-0): It's the season opener for the Panthers, who had to postpone the start of their season. O-M is coming off a pair of losses to Edison.
