IAC ADs CONFIRM DECISION TO POSTPONE START OF WINTER SPORTS UNTIL JAN. 4 (2020-11-07)

ITHACA — By a vote of 19-0, the Interscholastic Athletic Conference athletic directors confirmed their earlier decision to postpone the start of the winter season until Jan. 4 at the earliest.

The MAC did the same thing in mid-October, and the STAC is expected to follow suit.

Section IV is expected to wait until Governor Andrew Cuomo speaks on the subject, which he is expected to do next week.

Section IV was just one of three sections in New York State to cancel all fall sports.
