WAVERLY WRESTLING CLUB HOSTING CAPTAIN & CREW GOLF TOURNEY AUG. 16 AT TOMASSO'S (2020-07-08)

CHEMUNG — The Waverly Wrestling Club is holding a Captain & Crew Golf Tournament Sunday, Aug. 16 here at Tomasso’s Golf Course. It is a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

The cost is $65 per person, which includes green’s fees, cart, food, and prizes. The after party will be will be held at Diversion Brewery in Chemung, and will feature a Coaches food truck.

Prizes will be handed out to the winning team and runner-up, and will also include skins, longest drive, closest-to-the-pin, and 50-50 raffles.

“Due to h economic situation brought on by the Covid pandemic, we are not asking local business for sponsorships this year,” said a club spokesperson. “ We will be hanging banners for all our past sponsors who have supported us over the years.

“Anyone who wishes to donate to the wrestling club can contact us directly at the tournament.”
