SVEC YOUTH ASSOCIATION TO HOLD GOLF TOURNAMENT (2020-05-31)

CANDOR — Wipe off those clubs and stock up on balls (if necessary) — it's time to hit the links.

The SVEC Youth Football and Cheerleading Association will hold its annual fundraising golf tournament July 11 at Catatonk Creek Golf Club.

The tournament will benefit the association and the entry is $70 per golfer. It will be a 4-man captain and crew format with skins available with a 9 a.m. tee time.

The first-place team receives $350, second picks up $280 and third gets four free rounds of golf at Catatonk.

There will also be prizes for men's and women's closest to the pin and longest drive.

There will be money holes throughout the course, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing and various raffles.

Golfers will be treated to a chicken barbecue dinner at the end of the day.
