CHARLESTON, W. Va. — Owego grad Emma Renda scored five goals to lead the University of Charleston to an 18-8 victory over Ursuline College here March 10 in the Golden Eagles' final game before the coronavirus shutdown.

A senior midfielder, she scored her 100th career goal this season and was just four goals shy of the school record when the season ended.

Renda scored 15 goals as a freshman, 30 as a sophomore, 43 in her junior season, and had 18 through five games this season.

UC was 3-2 and had not started conference play yet.
